A lower price almost always means a compromise in one of these five areas. Ask your fabricator to specify each one in writing — a transparent supplier will have no hesitation doing this.
Also confirm who is responsible for the installation. Factory-fabricated units perform only as well as their installation — poor fitting can undo even the best profile and glass combination.
Finally, ask about after-sales support. Hardware may need adjustment after a year of use as buildings settle — a supplier who stands behind their installation will service this without hassle.
